Taekwondo

Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills.

Gumdo

Gumdo is a Sword Art.
It requires a high degree of concentration and precision rarely found in modern arts and sports. It is an excellent discipline for most age groups as well as for families!

Hapkido

Hapkido is Park's Martial Arts most diverse and physically demanding discipline.
This art features an action based philosophy of Circular Motion, Fluid Motion and Harmony of Motion.

Tai Chi

T'ai Chi training is intended to teach awareness of one's own balance and what affects it, awareness of the same in others, an appreciation of the practical value in one's ability to moderate extremes of behavior and attitude

Our History

Park’s Martial Arts (PMA), founded in Salisbury, MD in 1981 by the late Grand Master Sung Hong Park, provides the highest standards in traditional martial arts education. We focus on character development and self-discipline in our students and we have built a solid reputation as a leader in our area for youth and adult martial arts education.

At Park’s Martial Arts we offer detailed instruction in a variety of arts including Taekwondo, Gumdo, Hapkido and Tai Chi. In each of these courses we always strive to achieve the Five Goals laid out for us by Grand Master Park:
